We’re offering two types of degree courses in Bangladesh. Here are the details.

MBBS Degree

MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine, bachelor of Surgery. These are the basic degrees one has to obtain to be a doctor. It is an undergraduate degree course. It takes 5 years to complete the degree. The 1st and 2nd years includes in the 1st Professional Exam. 3rd and 4th years are 2nd Professional Exam. 5th year is for the Final Professional Exams. After that there is a 1 year of internship.

It is the branch of Biology which is the study of the structure of organisms and their parts. There are two types of Anatomy: Macroscopic Anatomy – an examination of an animal’s body and Microscopic Anatomy – a study of the tissues of various structures. Human Anatomy is one of the basic essential sciences of Medicine.


It is a scientific study of normal mechanisms. A study of Physiology revels how organisms, organ systems, organs, cells and biomolecules functions.


A study of chemical processes within and relating to living organisms. It is closely related to molecular biology.

The 2nd Professional Exam includes as follows:


This term is used broadly to refer the study of disease in general, including a wide range of bioscience research fields and medical practices.


It is a study of drug addiction. It is the study of the interactions between a living organism and chemicals.


It is a study on Microscopic organisms.

Forensic Medicine:

This is an application of medical knowledge to investigate crime, particularly in cases of injury or unwanted death.

Community Medicine:

It is a new branch of medicine and considered synonymous with Preventive and Social Medicine, Public Health and Community Health.

The 3rd/Final Professional Exam includes as follows:

It is an ancient medical practice of operative manual and instrumental techniques on a patient to cure a pathological condition such as disease or injury.


It is known as ‘the science of Women’. It is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive systems.
