There are many bus services to travel from Kolkata to Dhaka. Some of them are BRTC, Shyamali, Greenline, Sohag etc. The average price of ticket is Rs. 1,200/- to Rs. 1,500/- for one person. You can book your tickets prior to the date of your journey from the counters of Marcas Street, Park Street. You can book the tickets on the day of journey also from the counter but you only get tickets according to the availability. It’s better to book the tickets.
